Uniform
The Dance Consortium has a variety of uniform requirements for dance styles and techniques. Having the right dance uniform is so important when taking part in our dance classes.
Unlike some dance schools, we prefer to leave uniforms to the specialists. We recommend the fabulous team at Dancing Boutique in Tunbridge Wells to help you with all your uniform needs. Just like The Dance Consortium, the team at Dancing Boutique have been helping to equip dancers for over 30 years, and we're sure that you'll find their service friendly, their uniform great quality and a great source of advice. Just click on the link to have a look at their fabulous website, or give them a call on 01892 529720.

Why do I need to wear a uniform?

With dance comes discipline and a uniform gives a dancer a focus to their dance class, and a sense of pride. A uniform helps a teacher see a dancer’s alignment and posture from head to toe so they can make corrections when needed.
A neat and tidy appearance sets a positive, attentive attitude and shows an understanding and respect for your dance class. Baggy clothes and untidy hair, get in the way of a dancer and can be distracting and uncomfortable.
At The Dance Consortium we want our uniform to be worn as it encourages a unity and a sense of belonging. The school has a range of branded dance wear and accessories, which make excellent gifts for those mad about dancing on birthdays or at Christmas.
